Thai Food Still on the Menu on Main Street

Bangkok Pavilion, serving Thai cuisine, will open in former Sarin space.

A new Thai eatery will take the place of a former Thai eatery on Kings Park’s Main Street.

Bangkok Pavilion will fill the space of Sarin Thai Cuisine, which has been closed since January, for what owners said was a family emergency. Sarin's Kings Park location opened in 2011. Sarin's Greenvale location, which has been in business for over 15 years, remains open.

Gaan Fuino, who is the restaurant’s new owner, said some menu items will change but the food is nothing but authentic Thai.

“We cook real Thai food by real Thai people,” said Gaan who added that they have run restaurants in upstate New York.

For now they will serve beer and wine and they await a full liquor license, which is expected in a few weeks.
