Patch Is Coming to Great Neck

Great Neck Patch debuts on Thursday.

Patch.com is expanding its Long Island footprint.

We’re putting down roots in Great Neck. That’s right. The community that inspired The Great Gatsby, produced Olympic gold medalist Sarah Hughes and boasts one of the finest school districts in the nation is about to get a whole lot more interesting.

Why? Because we’ll chronicle it all, from North Hempstead news you can use to the best gas prices around and the latest happenings up and down bustling Middle Neck Road.

Consider Great Neck Patch a virtual community lawn, your online gathering place for conversation, events, announcements, news and more.

You won’t have to wait much longer. Great Neck Patch debuts Thursday.

You can see what Patch up to now by liking us on Facebook and following us on Twitter @GreatNeckPatch

Local Editor Lori Gross is a veteran journalist who grew up in Great Neck.

We’re currently looking to connect with local groups and organizations in Kings Point, Great Neck and nearby. Shoot us an e-mail at lori.gross@patch.com and say hello.

Patch is owned by AOL, and operates 41 websites across Long Island, and more than 860 nationwide.
