Nissan Recalls 150,000 Pathfinders, Infiniti SUVs Over Brake Issue
Recall affects 2013 and 2014 Pathfinders, 2013 JX35 models and 2014 QX60 models.
Nissan is recalling more than 150,000 of its Pathfinder, Infinity JX35 and QX60 sport-utility vehicles due to problems with their anti-lock braking systems.
The recall affects 2013 and 2014 Pathfinders, 2013 JX35 models and 2014 QX60 models.
According to the company's filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, affected vehicles have trouble braking on rough roads due to an issue with the anti-lock brakes software. As a result, stopping distances cold be stretched, a potentially dangerous situation that could lead to a crash.
The company said it will notify owners and will repair the system for free. Customers can call 800-647-9153 for more info.
This latest recall comes only a month after the NHTSA said it would investigate transmission issues on the Pathfinder and Infinity JX35 after reports of leaks in the cooling system.
Nissan also recalled Pathfinders in March due to issues with the airbag sensors.
