Drive-Thru Convenience Store, Dairy Barn, Now The Barn

Location under new management.

The quick drive-thru convenience store known as Dairy Barn is under new management and in now known as The Barn.

According to The Barn website, The Barns are a family owned chain of drive through supermarkets on Long Island the were formerly operated as Dairy Barns, but are under new management.

An employee at the store said customers can expect the same types of products that Dairy Barn carried, such as milk, eggs bread and more.

For a list of products the store stocks, see the PDF in our photo gallery.

The Barn http://www.thebarnfresh.com/ and Dairy Barn http://www.dairybarn.com/ are two entirely different companies. Look how close the two logos are though, almost identical. How is The Barn getting away with that?

It is wrong for "The Barn" to somehow erroneously choose to think that there is nothing wrong with charging more for milk (and likely other things as well) than what used to be charged by "Dairy Barn" for the same convenience. Any of us would understandably wish to be informed by them as to what the acceptable justification is AND what additional benefit it is to customers to be expected to pay higher prices (all because they decided to take over and put it under new management). In the meantime I will not pay higher prices than what would/should be considered reasonable and will take my business elsewhere, regardless of "convenience".

The same milk specials are in play at The Barn -also DB has 2 doz eggs/$4.50, Barn is 2 doz eggs/$4.25- and the ice cream specials that are once in a while at DB are everyday specials at the Barn.
