The Kings Park area saw some new businesses open in 2013, as innovative entrepreneurs took advantage of Main Street vacancies to create their own business.

New Thai restaurant opened its doors in Kings Park this August, taking over Sarin's former space.

Locals Bite on New Tackle Shop at the Bluff
On the Hook Bait Company, located in the parking lot of the bluff by the restrooms, opened over the summer and word about the conveniently located shop is starting to get around to local fishermen.

Hair Heaven at Newly Opened Blowout 22
Blowout 22, a chic modern salon is offering a local version of Manhattan's dry bars in which customers come in for a wash and stylized blowout, opened this June in Kings Park.
