The New Yorkers Bring the Oldies to Kings Park Main Street

Don't miss Musical Moments this Friday at 7 p.m.

Get ready for some toe tapping and dancing to the oldies during Musical Moments this Friday.

The New Yorkers will be singing the best of the 50s, 60s, and 70s at Russ Savatt Park in Kings Park. This group has been performing popular oldies songs since they were "newies."

The group's lineup consists of four men:  John Innella on drums, Joe Negrelli on key board, Larry Masi and Nic Reeger on guitar. The New Yorkers have performed at several prestigious venues including the Waldorf Astoria, The Empire City Casino at Yonker's Raceway, Nocello's in Northport and more.

Musical Moments in the Park program is presented by the Kings Park Civic Association, the Kings Park Chamber Commerce and local business community through Aug. 30. The concerts are made possible due to the Decentralization program, a regrant program of New York State Council of the Arts with support from Gov. Cuomo.

Show starts at 7:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be at the RJO Middle School, 99 Old Dock Rd., Kings Park. Further information available on the Musical Moments Facebook page or by calling 631-292-2083.

Audience members should bring their own seating.
