Weekend Spotlight – Kings Park Day Festival

A fun filled celebration of Kings Park.

The 34th Annual Kings Park Day Festival will be held this Saturday. Sponsored by the Kings Park Chamber of Commerce, the fair is a hometown tradition.

Along with plenty of smiles, there’s food, live music, crafts, gifts, dance performances, karate demonstrations and tons of giveaways.

The bike rally, which kicks off the festivities every year, finds generations of families racing towards Main Street.

“We are looking forward to a good weather day, with games, food, raffles, rides, music and entertainment that create a carnival-like atmosphere for all,” explains Charlie Gardner, president of the Kings Park Chamber of Commerce.

“In addition to most of our businesses proudly displaying their wares, just about every community group and religious institution in town has their own individual booths,” says Gardner.
