Nocturnal Wanderings: In Search of Owls
Sweetbriar will host an evening walk in search of our mysterious night flyers better known as owls.  Dress warm and bring your flashlight for this guided tour by a Sweetbriar naturalist.  End the evening with an edible owl treat! Feb. 9, 7:30 p.m.

Rescheduled Until Spring Due to Blizzard

An evening of Celtic Music is a benefit for the St. Anthony's High School Celtic Friars Pipe Band and Iona College Pipe Band.

The acts featured include: Iona College Pipe Band, Celtic Friars Pipe Band, The Bob Morris Irish Band, Inishfree School of Dance, The Friar Chior and Irish Sing-along with Gerard Donnelly.

The event will be in the school's auditorium. Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 at the door. Saturday, 7:30 p.m.

That's Entertainment

You’re invited to walk the red carpet as the Jr. Catholic Daughters of the Americas present "That's Entertainment.” The curtain goes up on Saturday at 8pm for a movie celebration. The doors will open at 7pm. Tickets for the event will be $15. St. Joseph's Church.

My Furry Valentine

It's a Lovefest. Join the League of Animal Protection in  Huntington in celebrating the love you have for your animal.

Bring your pet down on a leash or in a carrier and get a professional, glossy 5x7 photo by Charles Eames Photography for $10 donation. While there shope Valentine themed baked goods, free hot beverages and take a chance on winning a raffle basket. Sunday, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m., Lindsey's Groom Room, Kings Park.
