Mad Science Party Pack Night

For a mad night of fun, head down to Fort Salonga Elementary Friday night. Kings Park Cub Scout Pack 379 is inviting all boys, grades 1-5, to Mad Science Pack Night at 7:30 p.m.  A scientist from Mad Science will be on hand to entertain current and prospective Scouts with an entertaining and educational show.

Jack Lynn Memorial Softball Tournament & Social 2012 Registration

Register now for the John V. Lynn '83 Memorial Scholarship Fund softball game being played on Oct. 6.at Flynn Memorial Park.

Applebee's Short Stack for a Tall Cause

A flapjack fundraiser to support the Crohns and Collitis Foundation of America. Sunday 8 a.m. at the Commack Applebees.

7th Annual 5k Running of the Bull in Memory of Courtney Sipes
Get down to the school district's administration building on New York Avenue at 8 a.m. with $20 and go for a run that supports both Angela's House and the Courtney Sipes Memorial Foundation.


Head over to the 2012 Dog Show/Expo at Flowerfield in St. James, where some of the proceeds will go to dog related charities.
