Where/When: Commack Branch of the Smithtown Library; Saturday, 10-11 a.m.
Why Go: Can't touch your foot to the back of your head? Well you won't be able to after this class, but you will get a relaxing and tough workout. Be sure to bring a yoga mat or a towel.

Where/When: Kings Park post Office; Saturday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Why Go: Help the unfortunate on Long Island who struggle just to find something to eat by leaving non-perishable food next to your mailbox, which your letter carrier will pick up. Food can also be brought to the post office.
Pricing: Free


Where/When: Caffe Portofino; Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Why Go: Not only is this a chance to get household items at a fraction of their usual price, but you'll also get to meet farm animals!
Pricing: Free


Where/When: Chelsea Mansion; Saturday and Sunday, noon-5 p.m.
Why Go: Hear ye, hear ye. Your presence is requested at the royal estate of the Chelsea Mansion for a weekend of duels, dance, and other examples of a bygone era.
Pricing: $7 for adults, $4 for children, free for kids under 4


Where/When: Northport; Sunday, 1-5 p.m.
Why Go: As if you needed a reason to visit scenic Northport in the Spring, the Art Walk encourages tourists to stop by the many shops on Main Street.

Hmmm, now I wonder who or what organization could be doing this illegal act? I'm not going to make an educated guess who could be involverd in this deed but I think if Kings Parkers do some research they are smart enough to figure out who does not want the real facts of the "Uplands Project" to come to light. Displaying these signs is a way of making the public aware of the atrocity of this project. Questions will then be asked. Making a night run to remove them is, at the least, a cowardly act that should be publicized every time it occurs!
