Tell Us How Kings Park Parents Keep Kids Safe Online

Family Room blog is open for local parents to discuss the issues, or share their own tips for building strong families in town.

The Internet can be a scary place for adults. Add your kids in the mix and cyberspace can become downright terrifying.

According to recent studies, one in three teens has experienced online harassment and one in 25 kids has received an online sexual solicitation where the solicitor tried to make offline contact.

With children accessing the Internet and social media sites at higher levels and at earlier ages than ever, parents are the key to making sure their child's online experience doesn't turn into a dangerous one. How do you keep your children safe online?
