Kings Park resident Tom Reily purchased a new Cannon Rebel T2 before the start of the summer and says he takes the camera just about everywhere he goes.
Most of the photos seen here were taken from his backyard in Kings Park, but the photos of the mastiff and the dragonfly were taken at a cousin’s home in Fishkill, N.Y.
Tom says he likes all the photos, but is especially fond of capturing the bird flying to the feeder.

"The birds wings match the etched wings on the birdfeeder," he said in an email to Patch. "Getting lucky enough to capture shots like these makes me happy."
