Summer Scenes: Egrets at Sunken Meadow

Send us your summer scenes, we would love to see them.

Photographer Tom Gillen packed his camera gear and headed down to   one evening to capture the beauty of the surrounding landscape at twilight.

While there, he was fortunate enough to be blessed with a truly remarkable scene - a group of 20 or so Snowy Egrets and a handful of Great Egrets feeding side by side at a tidal outflow in the park, seemingly oblivious to his presence. Here are some photos from the trip.
