Spotlight Event: Bone Marrow Registry Drive For Local Resident John Ferreyra

Get swabbed, save a life.

A bone marrow registry is being held for local resident on Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the high school.

A simple swab on the inside of your cheek is all that needs to be done to find out if you are a match. Donors must be between the ages of 18 and 60 and must meet health guidelines. Donors must be willing to donate to anyone who is in need.

Money raised from the homecoming barbeque and bonfire will be used to help pay for the drive, which costs $25 per person for a swab kit.
