Photos: Playground At Nissequogue River State Park

Enjoy the playground and bird watching conservatory in Kings Park

With the playground at the library being closed while they undergo renovations, you may want to take the kids to the playground over at the Nissequogue River State Park.

The Foundation for Long Island State Parks enabled the purchase of state of the art playground facility in Kings Park. Intended for children between the ages of 5 and 12, the playground features everything from the traditional Merry-Go-Round to a board translating sign language with picture symbols. Take a look around the playground which is also on the grounds of the Nissequogue Bird Conservation Area.
