PHOTO: Local Marine Reservist, Daughter Honor Vets at St. Johnland

Marine Corps Reservist Sam Erwin and his daughter, Christine, were on hand recently for a luncheon at St. Johnland Nursing Center in Kings Park as the two honored over 20 St. Johnland residents who served in World War II and the Korean War.

Erwin, a New York City firefighter and Smithtown resident, presented each veteran with a medal in recognition of their service at the luncheon.
