Kings Park Remembers: How Do You Remember the 9/11 Attacks?

Paying tribute to the Sept. 11 attacks and those who died both during and afterwards.

This Wednesday marks the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon that claimed the lives of more than 3,000 people.

The Thomas Butler Memorial at the Kings Park Bluffs, built by the town in 2003, pays tribute to the memory of a Kings Park resident who was a New York City firefighter killed in the 9/11 attacks. There are 60 memorial bricks inscribed by family members and friends that remember Butler.

Tell us, Who or What do you remember most on Sept. 11? How do you remember those loved ones who died?
