June 7: Softball, Art Classes and Things to Do

There is plenty on tap for today.

The bases are loaded today with plenty of things to do. KP softball has a big game today and we have the lowdown on who and where they play.

 1.     School is winding down but before it finishes exams need to be taken. There is a at the Nesconset branch of the Smithtown library. Stop by and ace that test.

2.     The meets at 10 a.m. Get some tips on having a garden that blooms.

3.     Kids who want to show off their brush skills might find a great way to spend the afternoon. Students will be introduced to art history and different styles. Classes are held at the Smithtown Township Arts Council at 6 p.m.

4.     The Kings Park softball team will be vying for the Long Island Championship as they take on Seaford today at an away game. Check back with Patch at 4 p.m. and follow our live tweets. You will fell like you are at the game.
