Invite the Kings Park Community to Your Holiday Event by Posting it on Patch

Is your event open to the public? Add it to our calendar for all our readers to see.

As the saying goes, the more the merrier. And it's certainly the season to be merry.

If your organization, school, business, or group is planning a holiday event in Kings Park or Kings Park School District area, and you'd like to invite the community to come, posting it to our event calendar is a great way to do so.

Here's how you do it:

  • Log in to Patch, or join by clicking here.
  • Click here to go to our event calendar.
  • Click "Add an Event" on the right side of the page.
  • Follow the steps, and click "Post my Event" when you're all done.

Then your event is live in the calendar for all of Kings Park to see. You can use the URL to share it with your friends on Facebook, and on the day of your event, our readers will see it in our newsletter and on our home page.

If you have any questions or need help along the way, reach out to local editor Jennifer Sloat at jennifer.sloat@patch.com

Apparently you are not the only one this is happening to. From what I understand if these signs areRead More on a main drag somehow they are disappearing in the middle of the night. Hmmm, now I wonder who or what organization could be doing this illegal act? I'm not going to make an educated guess who could be involverd in this deed but I think if Kings Parkers do some research they are smart enough to figure out who does not want the real facts of the "Uplands Project" to come to light. Displaying these signs is a way of making the public aware of the atrocity of this project. Questions will then be asked. Making a night run to remove them is, at the least, a cowardly act that should be publicized every time it occurs!

That's funny, I spend a small fortune for school supplies for my kids. I am also asked to buy extraRead More for the kids who don't have., which I gladly do. The "society letting kids down" comment is a little over the top!!
