Historical Where Am I?

Can you guess where this old photo was taken? Bonus if you can guess the year.

Welcome to our latest edition of Where Am I? - with a historical twist. Patch wants to see how well you know your town's history. This photo, courtesy of King Pedlar puts your knowledge to the test.

Can you tell us where this photo was taken, the date of the photo and what is located there today?

If you think you can identify the photo, leave a comment with your best guess. We will give you a hint after day two if no guesses are correct.

Don't forget to be as specific as you can and remember it’s all for fun.

The first person to guess correctly will be congratulated on our Facebook page and Twitter feed.

If you can't figure it out, don't fret! We'll post the answer next week.

This is St J.oseph's Convent that was located on Henry St. and Veterans Lane. It was moved to the church property during the 50"s.

Larry's right. Walked through the school bus parking lot (now the Astoria bank lot), through the opening in the fence and then past the convent every day on the way to St. Joseph's school.

This was on the north-east corner correct? I think Anna Gavin put a house on that lot.
