Community Conversation
The first in a three-part series of community conversations hosted by Smithtown Youth Bureau for high school teens to come together to discuss immigrations and issues surrounding immigrants in the community will take place on Wednesday, 6 p.m. 

Growing Up Healthy - Parent Orientation
Kings park Central School District will be inviting Cynthia Proscia, clinical adjunct/director of health student teaching at Adelphi University in to lead fifth grade students at R.J.O. Intermediate School through a program "Growing Up Healthy" in February. Parents have the opportunity to meet Proscia at 7 p.m. Wednesday to ask any questions before the program begins in schools. 

Smithtown-Sunrise Rotary
Join the Smithtown-Sunrise Rotary for their weekly meeting 7:45 a.m. Thursdays at Millenium Diner in Smithtown. This week's guest speaker: Donna M. Planty, assistant district attorney with the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office speaking on Elder Abuse.

Smithtown Town Board
Smithtown's elected officials will host a public meeting 7 p.m. Thursday at the Eugene A. Cannataro Senior Citizen Center. Watch Patch later this week to find out what's on their agenda. 

Caralyn Stein Fundraiser
There will be a fundraiser dinner held for Caralyn Stein at the William T. Rogers Middle School at 6 p.m. Friday. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 a person. Music will be provided by St. Joseph's ensemble. All proceeds going to the Stein family. 

Report Cards
Trimester interm reports will be sent home for students in grades kindergarten to 5 on Friday.
