Getting Involved With Your Community: Five Things For This Week

Here are a few of the important events happening in Kings Park this week.

1.     Parents will learn how to provide their children with the skills they need when dealing with difficult situations. A series of five breakout sessions. Meeting begins on Monday at 9:45 a.m. at the Mary DeRose Parent Resource Center.

2.     . Children ages 4-7 can learn conflict resolution through a presentation by the Empire State Karate School.

3.     The Kings Park meets Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the high school.

4.     meets Wednesday for the second meet the candidate luncheon with Steve Bellone, candidate for Suffolk County Executive. Luncheon begins at 11:45 a.m.

5.     Help support 14-year old Lauren’s fight against cancer. begins at 4:00 p.m. at the high school.
