Kings Park Daisy troop #3006, led by Joanne Blum and Michele Palladino, took the members on Saturday to Fred Shores in Babylon to donate supplies they collected for Sandy victims. The girls helped to sort and hand out donations.
"It was eye-opening for all of us," said Blum. "Most of the troop had not seen the devastation first hand."
If you would like to make a donation, Fred Shores is located on Little East Neck Road in West Babylon. Paper goods, cleaning supplies, toiletries and canned goods are needed.
