Today is Give 5, learn more about how Patch volunteers in the community.

The weather is really shaping up so get out there and take advantage of it. There is plenty to do in Kings Park today, lots to learn and many ways to get involved. Enjoy!

 3. . Representative from the Suffolk County Police Department will we on hand to present a free seminar on the upcoming entrance examination.

 4. Check out our weekend planner later today to help set you up for a weekend full of fun activities.

 5. Throughout the year, Patch gives back to the community by having its employees volunteer in their nearby communities through a program called Give 5. Today I will be spending a few hours with Long Island Cares a Hauppauge-based food bank, that organizes food drives, pet food drives, personal items, school supplies and more for various food pantries across Long Island.
