Fall's Colors Begin to Emerge in Kings Park

Take a look at the fall foilage at Nissequogue River State Park in Kings Park.

Bright yellow, oranges and red leave are starting to gradually appear across Kings Park just in time for Halloween.

Sunny skies and mild temperatures have led to a gradual onset of fall, as patches of bright yellows and reds are starting to decorate the trees at Nissequogue River State Park in Kings Park.

Take a look at some of the early fall foilage visible in Nissequogue River State Park, the former Kings Park Psychiatric Center, in our gallery above.

With the leaves changing, there are several great photo opportunities around the local area. We're looking for members of the local community to share their best photos of the fall foliage

Head over to our new open blog, Snapshots, hopes to be a place where you can share great images with the rest of the community. We'll feature your work on Kings Park Patch's Facebook page.
