Don't Miss: Smithtown's Heritage Fair on Sunday
Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. featuring historical demonstrations, games and tours.
Reconnect with the Town of Smithtown's past with historical re-enactments and old-fashioned fun this week.
Smithtown Historical Society will be hosting its annual Heritage Fair on Sunday, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., along the historic district on Middle Country Road. Parking will be available at 22 Middle Country Road in Smithtown.
This year's fair will feature the Island Long Rider Cowboys, who will perform a mounted shooting demonstration. Other entertainment will include traditional dancing and music, historical house tours, old-fashioned craft demonstrations and a Revolutionary War and Civil War encampments.
For children, there will be pony rides, children's games, pumpkin painting, farm animals and more.
Admission to the Heritage Fair is $5 for adults and $3 for children. A coupon on the Smithtown Historical Society's website, found here, allows free admission for 1 child with a paying adult.
