This feathered friend followed Bernadette Piccione around on an afternoon hike in a park by Short Beach. She named him Charlie, but can you tell us what type of bird it is?
Piccione says she takes pictures of birds because she likes to paint and carve them from wood or other materials.
"The bird is an easy one to identify," said Piccione. "But most people don't know that these birds are local."
