1. For children entering grades 2 through 5, check out the Smithtown Library’s program. Tonight between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Commack branch, your little bakers can learn how to make pretzels from Germany.

2. If your teens are beginning to get bored from all this rest and relaxation this summer, don’t forget about at Sunken Meadow State Park. Sponsored by the Smithtown Veterans’ Youth Bureau, teens ages 14 through 19 are invited to party at the beach tonight from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
3. It’s Burger Wednesday at . From Veggie burgers to Banana-Jack cheeseburgers, they’re all $7.99, including fries and a 16oz fountain soda.
