Aug 1: Food Drive, Art Show and Seaside Adventures

Welcome to the first day of August.

Welcome to the start of another week Kings Park. We hope you enjoyed your weekend. Here are a few ideas to help you start the week off in the right direction.

 1.     Have a right at the library. Kids ages 5-8 can enjoy a story and a craft. Registration is required. Class starts at 11 a.m.

2.     The is ongoing at the Smithtown Township Arts Council in St. James. See a diverse display of artwork from 30 different artists.

3.     The is taking place at the Smithtown Landing Pools. Drop off canned and non-perishable foods and help feed the hungry.

4.     has been undergoing a makeover. Check back with Patch later today and find out what’s in store and what’s new on the menu.

5.     Patch was at the closing night award ceremonies for the Stony Brook Film Festival. A few awards were given out and though we rooted hard, was not recognized for one. Our hats are off to film director Lucy Winer. We thought it was pretty darn good.
