Area Yard Sales for July 23 and July 24

Yard sale season is in full swing. To help with your treasure hunt, Patch has compiled a list of this weekend’s area yard sales.

This week’s shopping tip – consider keeping an assortment of batteries in the car. If an item requires batteries and there aren’t any available to test it, negotiate the lowest possible price as there is the risk it won’t work when you get home. Remember to check all battery compartments for corrosion, especially in children’s toys.

Saturday, July 23 only

9 Bayard Drive, Dix Hills. (Off Village Hill Drive) Garage sale with items including household items, books, CD's, designer clothes/handbags, collectibles, accessories, furniture, bric a brac, DVD's, artwork, linens, and more. 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Rain or shine)

17 Pocket Court, Northport. (Off Elwood Road) Tag sale by Mona with items including white D/R w/high back chairs, china closet, blue leather sectional sofa, mica B/R sets, iron dinette set, pool table, and more. 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

77 Birchbrook Drive, Smithtown.  (Off Lawrence) Garage sale with items including books, baby items, games, PS2 games, toys, kitchen items, and more. 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

41 St. Nicholas Avenue, Smithtown. Garage sale with items including woodworking tools, stained glass tools, kitchen items, fishing items, and much more.

Sunday, July 24 only

603 6th Street, East Northport. Moving sale with items including furniture, household items, appliances, antique pots, trampoline, BBQ grill, outdoor furniture, huge breeder turtle tank, TV, electronics, and more. 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

231 Terry Road, Smithtown. Yard sale with items including furniture, clothing, coats, and more. 9:00 a.m. until everything goes.

Saturday and Sunday, July 23 and 24

419 3rd Street, East Northport. Yard sale with items including Avon products (brand new), music CD's (brand new), children's toys, furniture, "Little Tikes" play house, home decor, furniture, super-sturdy "This End Up" chairs and love seats, clothing, and more. 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

19 West Drive, Kings Park. (Follow sign to backyard) Yard sale with items including vintage costume jewelry, household items, and much more. 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
