April 29: Travel Around the World Without Leaving Town

Friday is finally here and there is plenty to do in Kings Park. The mix today is international. Mariachi bands, Hawaiian heritage and a food from around the world will have you feeling like you had a vacation. What will you choose to do today?

 1.     The St. Johnland Nursing Home is having a from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Local restaurants will be donating food plus raffles and prizes.

2.     Get a little hang time in at at the Kings Park Heritage Museum. The fun starts at 7 p.m.

3.     Shanahan’s Bar and Grill brings a bit of Liverpool to Kings Park. Grab a pint and check out the band on tap for the night.

4.     It may say April 29 on the calendar but it is Tequila tastings and a Mariachi band make the evening lively.
