Members of RJO Intermediate School’s Junior Honor Society and Community Service Club have been visiting St. Johnland Nursing Center monthly to interact with the residents. In January students came to help the residents practice for seated volleyball, one of the competitions at the Suffolk County Golden Games in May. Others come to play bingo with the residents and are generous enough to provide prizes for the winners. Coordinator Nicole Malone often comes with as many as 50 enthusiastic, energetic, caring volunteers!
