Band Musicians Wanted

Use your musical skills to make patriotic music for a worthy cause as a volunteer in the Coast Guard Auxiliary.  The Band performs in uniform, for civic, public and Coast Guard (& CG Auxiliary) functions throughtout greater NYC area. We have performed from Manhattan at the Intrepid Air Museum and the St. Patricks Day Parade to the Montauk Coast Guard Station.  You are not joining the military, but supporting the Coast Guard and its functions by playing music. Performances during a typical year are at the Intrepid Museum on CG Appreciation Day, the Northport Blessing of the Fleet, Oysterfest, area parades, Coast Guard ceremonies, and concerts in the park and at the VA Hospital.  Members must be at least 17 years old and pass a background check. Search for us on Facebook

Hmmm, now I wonder who or what organization could be doing this illegal act? I'm not going to make an educated guess who could be involverd in this deed but I think if Kings Parkers do some research they are smart enough to figure out who does not want the real facts of the "Uplands Project" to come to light. Displaying these signs is a way of making the public aware of the atrocity of this project. Questions will then be asked. Making a night run to remove them is, at the least, a cowardly act that should be publicized every time it occurs!
