Crimes Nearby: Nesconset Home Burglarized

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Suffolk County Police Department and New York State police reported these arrests and incidents.

Commack

Torrey Smith, 34, from East Northport was arrested in Commack on March 1 and charged with second degree possession of marijuana.

Princena Degraffe, 27, of Central Islip, was arrested March 1 in Commack and charged with criminal possession of marijuana.

Carla Donovan, 26, from East Northport was arrested in Commack on March 1 and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, allegedly prescription pills.

Kathryn Lambert, 21, of Commack, was arrested March 2 and charged with driving while intoxicated, disobeying a traffic control device, driving on the shoulder, and backing up on a controlled access highway. Lambert ignored a road closure and drove into the scene of an accident on the Southern State Parkway, according to police.

Matthew Bounaparte, 41, of Hauppauge, was arrested in Commack March 2 and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, resisting arrest, criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree harassment, and traffic violations. Bounaparte drove while high on the Northern State Parkway and spat at and fought with an officer, police said.

Matthew O'Reilly, 46, of St. James, was arrested March 5 in Commack and charged with DWI and traffic violations. According to police, O'Reilly drove drunk on the Northern State Parkway and failed sobriety tests.

Smithtown

Henry Deboer, 49, of Stony Brook, was arrested in Smithtown on Feb. 28 at 10:10 p.m. on charges of first-offense DWI. Reports state Deboer failed to signal when making a left turn on Veterans Highway.

Carlos Almazanemery, 23, was arrested in Smithtown on Feb. 26 on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a BAC level of .08 of 1 percent, first offense. Reports state Almazanemery was arrested at 3:20 a.m. on the corner of Brooksite Drive and Morgan Court while operating a 2001 Ford Taurus.

A 16-year-old St. James boy was arrested in St. James on March 1 on petit larceny charges. Reports state the boy was arrested on School Street for stealing an iPhone.

Kamil Kosek, 25, of St. James, was arrested in St. James on Feb. 27 at 9:30 p.m. on charges of possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana. Reports state Kosek was arrested on Lake Avenue for being in possession of two hypodermic needles and marijuana.

Hauppauge

Kenneth Gallagher, 56, of Nesconset, was arrested March 2 and charged with driving while intoxicated - first offense, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and unlawful possessin of marijuana. Police said Gallagher was pulled over on Lake Avenue in Saint James for his driving, where he was found to be in possession of an unlabeled orange prescription bottle with pills inside and marijuana. 

Selden residents Crystal Dattilo, 30, and Jason Dattilo, 33, were arrested March 1 and charged with second-degree burglary of a dwelling. Police said the pair broke into a house on Townline Road in Nesconset by climbing in a window. They allegedly stole jewelry and clothing from the home. Police arrested the pair on Oser Avenue in Hauppauge. 

Scott Woods, 41, of Petersburgh, N.Y. was arrested Feb. 29 and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, fifth-degree public possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possessin of a controlled substance. Woods was pulled over for a traffic stop in the Islandia park-and-ride off Expressway Drive North, when officers discovered he was  in possession of marijuana and cocaine.
