Crime Report: Wire Spools Stolen From LIPA
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
The Suffolk County Police department reported the following arrests.
John Scarlett, 31, and Matthew Olson, 31, both of Kings Park, were charged on Feb. 22 in Dix Hills, with unlawful use of a controlled substance and possession of stolen property. Police said Scarlett and Olson were in possession of four spools of copper wire taken from the Long Island Power Authority.
Kyle Rieff, 21, of Kings Park, was charged on Feb. 20 with burglarizing a residence in Smithtown. Police said Rieff broke the rear glass door of the residence and removed a watch.

Scott Campbell, 25, of Kings Park was charged with driving while intoxicated on Feb. 19. Police said Campbell was speeding when he went through a red light and was then charged with DWI.
